Job Description
Assist in returning a patient with disease, injury or disability to the maximal level of function under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
Education:
Associate of Arts degree from an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
Position Type: This position is outpatient.
Experience:
- One year prior experience preferred.
- New graduates acceptable.
Licenses/Certificates:
- Physical therapist assistant South Carolina License.
- AHA BLS or equivalent certification required.

MUSC Health Black River Medical Center supports a patient-and family-centered approach to care. Family members are not considered visitors to a loved one who is hospitalized. They are key participants in support, decision-making, and care. We do not have visiting hour restrictions and two people are always welcome at the bedside 24 hours a day. Residents benefit from access to a full range of modern diagnostic and interventional capabilities, including:
