Position: School Social Worker
Location: South Holland, IL 60473
Duration: ASAP - June 16th, 2024
Pay: $43.02 - $51.21/hr ($53,000 - $63,090)
Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:15 PM, Wednesdays until 4:15 PM
Caseload: Less than 9 students
Grade Level: 4th-5th
AnthroMed Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join our team for the remainder of the school year. This School Social Worker will work alongside a skilled and supportive colleague, focusing on the social-emotional well-being of our students. You will be part of a supportive team dedicated to enhancing student well-being and academic success. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual counseling sessions with students.
- Provide Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) push-in lessons for small groups.
- Supervise and engage with students during recess.
- Facilitate 1:1 lunch sessions for additional support.
- Collaborate with the team to implement the Second Step program and address monthly topics.
- Maintain a manageable caseload of fewer than 9 students, ensuring personalized attention and support.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work
- PEL License
- IDFPR License
