What you’ll do in this role: Manage incoming lab results based on infusion schedule and per MD

order. Add lab results to patients’ chart in Caretend as

appropriate. Receive verbal orders and document per

protocol. Communicate effectively with LabCorp regarding results, missing results, and missing requisition information. Report lab results to appropriate

personnel. Assess patients’ telephonically regarding critical lab

results. Communicate effectively with interprofessional team in Monday and AlayaCare as

appropriate.

We are looking for a compassionate Lab Nurse with: Must possess the ability to multi-task and frequently change

direction. Assists in coordinating/scheduling lab

draws. Organizes assigned workload to facilitate its

accomplishment. Communicates with supervisor to solve patient care

issues. Participates in department QA activities as

requested. Attends designated departmental meetings as

scheduled. College degree/ certification required or equivalent

experience. RN: 2 years

(Required) ER/ICU/Infusion: 1 year preferred (critical

thinking) Infusion experience in a hospital or Home Health setting: 1 year

(Preferred)
