Operational Sanitation Associate
Responsibilities:
Responsible for distribution of all chemicals used for daily Sanitation Processes during the operational workday
Dispense all chemicals used for cleaning during production
Follows all work safety policies and guidelines related to chemicals
Maintains the chemical warehouse in a clean and orderly manner
Sanitizes equipment that has been repaired during the operational work day prior to releasing it for use
Adheres to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) product standards and guidelines
Performs other duties as assigned
Accountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Possess high standards and goals for self and be able to lead other team members to obtain the same
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Working knowledge of Sanitation Chemicals and Usage
Understanding of Butterball’s Food Safety and Sanitation Principles:
HACCP, SSOP and SPS
Ability to speak, read and write English
Basic math skills:
Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division
Able to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed
Excellent Attendance, work and safety record
Ability to interact with all levels of Management
Once in the position, must complete forklift training and certified
