Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pediatrics OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/16/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel "Adult Exp OK IN LICENSE AND CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUBMIT First Time Travelers NOT Accepted Shift Requirements: 4 call shifts a month and holidays required Certification Requirements: BLS Scrub experience required Level 1 trauma experience preferred Skillset Requirements: Trauma experience preferably in a Level I trauma center. Surgery Cases: General, Urology, Endo/Laparoscopic, Plastics, ENT Required Neuro EXP Required - Adult Exp OK Minimum Experience Required: 2 Years Unit Information: Level I trauma center with the following specialties: ENT, Urology, Plastics, General Surgery, Orthopedic, Trauma, and Neurosurgery. Types of surgical procedures range from minor procedures to very complex procedures including ECMO, burn procedures, tumor resections, and trauma procedures. pediatric population: neonates, infants, toddlers, child, adolescent, some adults Equipment: Stealth, DaVinci, ROSA Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30). Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS Local travelers with permanent residence in Indiana, will be offered $15 below the current bill rate."
