Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel null Submission Requirements: Can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years Individual unit requirements listed in pulse apply. Chest Pain, COPD, AMS, Pneumonia, UTI, Abdominal Pain, Overflow for most services, hospice (will 'flip' patients to GIP Hospice on 7 West) Experience or 'Must have' skills Unknown Are RNs required to titrate drips? Unknown Common titratable &/or set rate drips Yes - Drips in Stepdown, floor only gets PCAs, heparin, etc. Charge Nurse/House Supervisor They are budgeted for a free charge nurse per unit & House Supervisor is always available Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios Run with 4 if fully staffed for 32 beds RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc.) Per RT Is there tele on this unit? Monitor techs? RNs read strips? Yes - They have Tele. RN's must be able to read strips in conjunction with the telemetry monitor techs that continuously monitor strips Shifts & Scheduling 7a-7:30p; 7p-7:30a Weekend Requirement Weekend shift Holiday Requirement Work into the perm staff holiday schedule Is there a call or standby requirement?
