Always potential for med-surg overflow (e.g., GI bleed, sepsis, CVA, COVID ) Special Procedures/Unit Details: Pre/post cath lab, PPM/AICD, ablations, vascular surgeries (CEAs, fem-pops), Titration of drips (e.g., Cardizem, Amiodarone, Dobutamine, Nitroglycerin, Dopamine, heparin); Sheath pulling at bedside Special Equipment: Telemetry monitoring, Chest Tubes, PCAs, Epidurals, Wound Vacs Job Requirements Required Certs/Skills: BLS, Telemetry, Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, On unit monitoring, CABG, Chest tubes, Post angiogram, MI, Cardiac Cath, and sheath removal, Port accessing, Blood product administration, Central line, Peripheral line, and PICC line care/management, Starting IVs, Titrate cardiac drips, Titrate vasoactive drips, Isolation precautions, Wound care/management Schedule Information - Every other holiday - Can be pulled to all other inpatient units - Unable to guarantee any specific scheduling requests (e.g., block scheduling) Unit Specific Information Unit will accommodate 1st timers that have 2 years experience Patient Diagnoses include a variety of conditions such as CAD, PVD, arrhythmias, MI, and more Special Procedures/Unit Details: Pre/post cath lab, Sheath pulling at bedside, etc.
