We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Warehouse Associate to join our team at Goodwill Southeast Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer hardware components and gaming consoles, be capable of thinking critically to solve problems, and possess a passion for delivering excellent customer service. As part of the team, you will be responsible for sorting and assessing donated electronics, determining whether they should be recycled or refurbished, and ensuring a clean, efficient, and safe work environment.

Your Typical Day:

• Sorting & Assessment: Review and sort incoming electronics, including computers and gaming consoles, to determine if they should be recycled or refurbished.
• Organization: Maintain a secure, clean, and organized warehouse space to facilitate smooth operations.
• Logistics Support: Prepare computer equipment for delivery, supporting the overall logistics operation.
• Efficiency & Productivity: Work quickly and efficiently to meet quality and quantity standards, contributing to production and profitability goals.
• Documentation: Participate in filling store shipment requirements and completing related paperwork.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Ensure that trash is removed regularly, and warehouse areas are kept clean and free of debris.
• Professionalism: Maintain a courteous and professional image when interacting with customers and the public.
• Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols, wear required safety equipment and contribute to a safe working environment.
• General Duties: Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by the IT Operations Manager.

What You’ll Need:

• Education: High School diploma or GED, or equivalent job-related experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the role.
• Technical Skills: Ability to operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Visual Acuity: Good eyesight and color definition for accurate assessment of electronic components.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
• Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, as required.
