This is a hybrid position with minimum 3 days/week in person.

As a recruiter at Hazen, you will be responsible for tasks from the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to extending offers and facilitating a smooth onboarding process. You will work closely with hiring managers across different groups and offices to understand their needs and deliver high-quality candidates. Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and job requirements.
  • Proactively source and engage passive candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Screen and assess candidates, providing recommendations based on qualifications, cultural fit, and potential.
  • Manage candidate pipelines, ensuring timely follow-ups and a positive candidate experience.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, providing guidance to hiring managers and candidates throughout the interview process.
  • Assist with job offer negotiation.
  • Conduct reference checks as required.
  • Coordinate with HR on offer letter requests, onboarding, and candidate data.
  • Lead coordination of our entry-level hiring, including regional coordination for career fairs, and implementation of an entry-level resume tracking system and dashboard for hiring managers. This role is anticipated to hire an additional recruiter to focus on entry-level recruiting in the first 6 months.
  • Assist in vetting and contract negotiation with outside recruiting agencies.

Qualifications:

  • 8-15 years of experience in recruitment, with a strong background in full-cycle recruitment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization and with external candidates.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple roles and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools and strategies, including social media, internal networking, and external networking.
  • Excellent data management skills and ability to develop an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices related to hiring.
