As an Industrial Housekeeper you will:
- Regularly cleaning and clearing waste from the workplace
- Sorting in the production line
- Immediately cleaning spills and making sure warning signs are visible
- Providing directions, labels, and signs for items in the workplace
- Keeping lighting fixtures clean and free of dust
- Maintaining compliance with chemical controls and other safety systems
- Providing the necessary cleaning equipment, such as brooms, mops, vacuums, and cleaning solutions
- Following up with meetings to identify areas that require maintenance or improvement
The ideal candidate will have:
- Attention to detail: Ensure that areas are cleaned to the highest standards and that you notice and communicate any issues or repair needs.
- Specialty cleaning techniques: Be able to perform specialty cleaning tasks properly and communicate those techniques to new staff
- Knowledge of cleaning tools and supplies: Know how to use cleaning tools and supplies.
- Efficiency: Be efficient in your work.
- Reliability: Be reliable.
- Punctuality: Be punctual
