The Role

As a full stack engineer with Scale and Channel Optimization (SCO), you will be part of a diverse and collaborative team, laser-focused on delivering outstanding solutions. You will work across a wide range of technologies, bringing deep technical experience across Angular, NodeJS, micro-services, and cloud.

The Value You Deliver

As a Full-Stack Engineer in SCO, responsibilities include:

• Working as part of an agile SCRUM team
• Developing, maintaining, and testing solutions across the Angular-Node-API-AWS tech stack
• Crafting and implementing solutions that align with the wider Fidelity technology strategy
• Documenting & sharing technical solutions and diagrams
• Driving technical hygiene and adoption of engineering leading practices and Fidelity standards
• Collaborating and communicating with other specialists and those with vested interest across SCO and the wider company
• Performing code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing
• Identifying and resolving issues within the production and non-production environments

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Engineering
• Strong problem-solving skills within sophisticated, distributed deployments
• 8+ years of hands-on development experience with Angular, NodeJS, and Java microservices
• Good understanding of cloud-computing and software development on AWS
• Practical experience with containerization and Kubernetes
• Experience with common CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy, etc)
• Hands-on experience with logging and observability tools - Splunk and Datadog
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical teammates
• A positive demeanor and strong work-ethic

The Team

Our chapter area supports the Scale and Channel Optimization product area, whose mission is to drive scale and efficiency across the interactions between Wealth Management Teams and their clients by optimizing opportunities, driving digital appointments and digitizing client plan implementation. The applications in our product suite support both customers and advisors and drive business growth by ensuring that every interaction is significant and productive.

Your work will support the growth and client experience for Fidelity's Personal Investing business. Fidelity Personal Investing (PI) serves the financial needs of millions of individual investors with a comprehensive range of investment products and services.
