Accounting Manager

As the Accounting Manager, you will be a crucial asset to our finance department which is based in Las Vegas, NV. You will ensure that financial operations run smoothly ensuring that the consolidated financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting are held to the highest standard.

Client Details

My client is a family office that have multiple entities. They have multiple manufacturing businesses, real estate holdings, as well as a philanthropic arm. The group employs over 3000 people globally and have been in business for over 60 years. They are looking for an Accounting Manager with experience working in a family office or corporate environment with extensive consolidation experience. They have multiple offices but this role will be based in Las Vegas, NV and is hybrid (4 days in office, 1 working from home).

Description

Responsibilities:

• As the Accounting Manager, you will ensure that the accounting function runs smoothly.
• Oversee, Month End Quarter End, and Year end close.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements.
• Work closely with Tax and Treasury teams.
• Manage the cash flow forecasting.
• Oversee the AP and AR team.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes.

Profile

Qualifications:

• As the Accounting Manager you will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, ideally in a family office, or corporate environment.
• Manufacturing experience is a nice to have.
• Strong consolidation experience is a must have for this role.
• Strong GAAP and knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• This role is based in Las Vegas, NV and is hybrid (4 days in office, 1 working from home).
