Job Description
The International Logistics Coordinator is a critical role within ICL’s Supply Chain, responsible for managing processes related to the import, export, and trade compliance of products for the company. The individual in this role will be responsible for controlling and verifying the import and export flows while also communicating information effectively and timely as required by customs brokers, freight forwarders, and interested parties. To accomplish these objectives, the International Logistics Coordinator should be able to learn, manage and improve existing processes, systems, and communications. Additionally, the candidate must be able to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and successfully implement those solutions within the business.

Responsible for the scheduling and tracking of ocean freight through the global supply chain in alignment with routing guides.
Effectively communicate with customs brokers, freight forwarders and customers/vendors to ensure the correct dispatch of export orders and the correct import and delivery of the company’s products within trade compliance.
Prepare and review shipping documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and Dangerous Goods Declarations.
Proactively resolve any issues or delays in the shipping process promptly and efficiently.
Own the documentation filing process for all imports and exports with required regulatory bodies.
Administer equipment certification lifecycles ensuring ICL leased equipment fleet is compliant with regulations.
Collaborate with internal departments to align logistics activities with business needs.
Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance operational efficiencies while effectively managing costs.
Respond to foreign customers/vendors’ inquiries related to import and export operations.
Support documentation and mapping of Import & Export Trade Compliance operational processes.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in international logistics.
Other duties as assigned.
What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited institution.
3+ years of experience in international logistics, supply chain management or a related field.
Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures and documentation requirements.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of trade compliance and import & export processes.
Proficient in Excel and other data manipulation and analysis tools.
SAP experience or similar ERP system experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support the team
Compensation at ICL:
If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000
Annual Bonus Target: 5%, subject to plan provisions.
