Summary of Work
It is the mission of the North Dakota Department of Commerce to lead North Dakota's efforts to attract, retain and expand wealth and talent. We are currently looking for a temporary part-time Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support for the Division of Community Services (DCS) State Energy Program team members.
As the Administrative Assistant your duties will include:
To be considered for this role , you must have a minimum of either a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and three (3) years of similar or related experience OR an Associate degree and one (1) year of similar or related experience. You must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Additional Information
Hourly Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, not to exceed 25 hours per week. Schedule is flexible and hours may vary.
Location: Central office is Bismarck, with working remotely from a ND location. Some travel is required.
Position Duration - Up to six years based on availability of funds.

As the Administrative Assistant your duties will include:
- General administrative support.
- Manage inbound and outbound correspondence.
- Coordinate in-state and out-of-state travel, to include scheduling travel, preparing travel authorization forms; assembling necessary travel, meeting, and event documents; and managing expense reimbursement forms.
- Coordinate project reporting and quarterly reports.
- Assist with data review and report preparation for energy federal programs.
- Coordinate State Energy Program (SEP) stakeholder meetings.
- Assist with taking and managing minutes related to various meetings associated with State Energy Program activity.
- Assist with information entry and maintenance in database.
