DETAILS: Financial Analyst
COMPENSATION: $80,000 - $100,000 Base + Benefits on Day 1
This position involves conducting analysis and making forecasts based on complex financial, economic, and other important data and trends to contribute to business decision-making and the achievement of strategic objectives. The employee will collaborate with the finance team on tasks such as pricing analysis, monthly financial reporting, presenting results, profitability analysis, and various ad hoc projects. Furthermore, the employee will provide significant support during the forecasting and budgeting process.
Required Qualifications: Financial Analyst
- Must have a degree in a relevant discipline, such as Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Should have at least 3 years of experience in a relevant role, such as accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, etc.
- Should have experience in advanced MS Office applications, with a focus on Excel, including proficiency in formulas, data manipulation, pivot tables, and V-lookup functions.
- Perform in-depth analysis of complex data and provide forecasts, reports, and recommendations to assist leadership in making informed business decisions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial result reports and effectively communicate the drivers of performance.
- Provide decision support by simulating pricing changes and analyzing their effects on customer profitability, while also offering recommendations.
- Conduct detailed and complex financial analysis for new business opportunities, strategic initiatives, capital expenditures, acquisitions, and other projects.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for business planning purposes.
- Collaborate during forecasts and annual budgeting processes by gathering and analyzing data and assisting in developing forecasting assumptions.
- Proactively evaluate processes, reporting methods, and profitability, making recommendations for improvements.
