This critical role is responsible for assisting customers and our team of sales professionals on a day-to-day basis by providing the absolute best customer service experience. Customer Service Representatives take the lead on overseeing customer needs, answering questions, providing information, and escalating calls and emails to the correct agent if necessary. They develop a knowledge-base of our policies and services and use that information to make a tangible impact on our customer's lives with the help they provide.

Responsibilities
  • Manage both inbound and outbound calls
  • Provide clear communication to assist customers over the phone and by e-mail with a variety of questions
  • Document all of customer interactions, detailing inquiries as well as actions taken
  • Perform complex clerical duties with accurate and timely data entry, including policy changes, payments, cancelations, and incoming/outgoing mail
  • Handle all customer information with the highest level of confidentiality
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Ability to maintain a professional, friendly, and helpful demeanor
  • Ability to communicate at a professional level in both written and verbal form
  • Possess strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize managing multiple assignments with high detail accuracy
  • Strong computer skills - familiar with Windows OS and Office applications
  • Have effective organizational, time management and multitasking skills
  • Quick and accurate typing and 10-key skills
  • Required to pass the licensing exam within 60 days of hire
  • Attendance and punctuality, 3 issues in the first 60 days are grounds for dismissal
