We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented strategic Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, experience with controller responsibilities, a CPA background, and trained in a large accounting firm. This role is integral to our cross-functional organization, driving critical functions including book close, invoicing, payroll, and FP&A.

●       Manage Critical Accounting Processes:

o   Conduct month-end close procedures leveraging 3rd party bookkeeping firm and accounting admino   On a monthly basis send out invoices to clients

o   Twice a month process payroll

o   AP, AR, and Accounting Oversight

o   Ensure GAAP compliance

 

●       Support Annual Audit

o   Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.

o   Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and related third-parties.

 

●       Strategic Analyses and Financial Reporting:

o   Lead the FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

o   Utilize excel skills to analyze financial data for effective decision-making

o   Support management in the annual budgeting process

o   Ah-hoc FP&A work as required

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

●       Education and Experience:

o   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree preferred

o   CPA certification required

o   3+ years of financial analysis and / or accounting experience with a large accounting firm

o   Proven track record of managing financial processes and teams effectively

 

●       Technical Skills:

o   Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements

o   Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis

o   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

 

●       Soft Skills:

o   Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

o   Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on client satisfaction

o   Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
