About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Technical Accounting to oversee the accounting policy and SEC reporting function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures in line with US GAAP, monitoring changes in accounting standards and regulations, and conducting technical accounting research to provide guidance on complex issues. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and external auditors, is essential to resolve accounting and reporting matters. The role also involves participating in the implementation of new accounting standards, ensuring proper documentation and communication of changes, and supporting both internal and external audit processes. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA certification preferred, and a minimum of 6-8 years' experience in accounting policy and technical accounting. The role requires in-depth knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements, as well as experience in researching and interpreting complex accounting issues. The Vice President will be expected to have a strong background in financial statement analysis, and review disclosures for accuracy and compliance. The position is pivotal in ensuring the company's financial reporting is in accordance with the highest standards and that all relevant stakeholders are kept informed of any changes.
