Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Director of Cybersecurity Operations for our fast-paced IT Services client. This role will lead a team of cybersecurity professionals and will be responsible for the overall strategy, execution, and success of cybersecurity operations. This person will be a key player in ensuring the security of our client's digital assets, infrastructure, and data. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity best practices, digital forensics, network architecture, and security architecture, coupled with strong project management skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Oversee the management of cybersecurity incidents and investigations, ensuring the timely and effective resolution of all issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s information security posture.
  • Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Manage the cybersecurity budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately.
  • Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, and apply this knowledge to strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to cybersecurity and privacy.
  • Develop and deliver cybersecurity training and awareness programs to all staff members.
  • Use Splunk, Phantom, and other security tools to monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior cybersecurity role, preferably within the Education or IT Services industry.
  • Proven experience in managing cybersecurity operations, including incident response, digital forensics, and risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of network and security architecture.
  • Proficiency in using security tools such as Splunk and Phantom.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is required.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex cybersecurity concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong budgeting skills, with the ability to manage resources effectively.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A master's degree or other relevant certifications will be considered an advantage.
