Clearance Requirement:

Active Secret security clearance required (US Citizenship necessary).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular schedule reviews to ensure accountability and proactive issue identification among project managers.
  • Provide essential support to the task order program manager and project managers, especially during high workload periods.
  • Utilize scheduling theory to develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and related documents following best practices.
  • Establish scheduling routines, develop baseline schedules, and effectively manage project performance against those baselines.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills to collaborate with various functional teams to identify and maintain schedule tasks and dependencies.
  • In partnership with the Project Manager and cross-functional team, generate and manage an accurate Master Schedule to meet customer milestones.
  • Work collaboratively with the PMO and other project teams to maintain updated, integrated schedules.
  • Develop layered schedules highlighting project progress and contributions to overall program objectives.
  • Create and sustain resource-loaded project schedules using detailed project documentation and input from senior managers.
  • Ensure documentation of dependencies and inter-project relationships for comprehensive risk management.
  • Identify and track major milestones, critical paths, and project lifecycle events.
  • Regularly set and track the baseline schedule, implementing version control processes.
  • Perform scenario analyses to prepare for potential schedule adjustments.
  • Facilitate risk mitigation and issue management through detailed schedule analysis.
  • Generate detailed reports comparing planned versus actual work outcomes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6-10 years of experience.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Proficient in MS Project and/or other schedule management tools.
  • Experience with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) architecture.
  • Understanding of critical path management.
  • Capability in schedule forecasting and performance management.
  • Familiarity with baseline change control and scheduling metrics.
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing the Master Schedule effectively.
  • Strong collaborative skills in team settings.
  • Experience in developing and implementing standard processes based on industry best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) Certification.

This opportunity is eligible for external hire.

Pay Range: $78,000.00 - $141,000.00
