A Brief Overview Takes on the day-to-day management of the Master Data Management team for Stanford Health Care Supply Chain in support of the Senior Manager. Leads and develops the team to support core execution requirements and drive data quality improvements supporting organization-wide strategic Supply Chain initiatives. Applies a comprehensive understanding of Master Data Management functions/concepts, Supply Chain Logistics and Sourcing business reporting and operational needs, and industry data standards. Leads various master data dependent projects. Advocates for Master Data Management mission, vision and strategy within the organization. Under the direction of the Senior Manager, day-to-day activities and priorities are based on collaboration with the Supply Chain leaders. These include: Ensure quality and integrity of Item, Vendor, Pricing, Contracts and other Supply Chain datasets across the organization; advocate for master data governance in all instances where master data is utilized in Supply Chain and elsewhere in the enterprise. Work proactively with Business Intelligence/Operational Reporting, Analytics, Demand Planning, Category Management, Value Based Selection, Purchasing, Logistics, Clinicians/other stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure MDM’s projects and services meet the needs of the organization. Manage and report on Master Data Management data standards, benchmarks, KPIs, compliance and variances. Conduct quality control activities and recommend and/or implement additions/changes to Master Data Management policies and procedures. Develop and design improvements to the processes, procedures, tools, rules and metrics to ensure data integrity of master data domains. Function as the primary point of contact related to projects assigned to the team. Oversees analyst team by triaging work, assigning tasks and tracking progress. Develop workplans with breakdown of tasks, resourcesUnderstands and implements processes and policies for managing enterprise-wide supply chain data throughout the data lifecycle from capture to processing to usage across all layers of the applications infrastructure and architecture. Manage and ensure resolution of daily escalations, exceptions and completion of standard work related to Item and Vendor file management. Participate actively in daily, weekly, and monthly meetings related to operational, data governance, procurement, and accounts payable functions. Proactively manage and communicate issues, needs, achievements to their manager to ensure ongoing operations are seamlessly maintained. Understand and contribute to the strategic direction set by senior leadership as it relates to team goals. Education Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or other related field from an accredited college or university, or comparable work experience in this field. Experience Qualifications • Any combination of education and experience to ensure at least 5 years of increasing responsibility and comprehensive expertise in implementing industry best practice for data management and governance Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of multiple MDM tools beyond core experience and ERP experience, including Workday, Oracle, SQL, Lawson, PeopleSoft, Hadoop and/or others. Excellent project management and organizational skills in IS and IT environments, as well as within a Supply Chain organization. Knowledge of ETL and API tools to integrate data. Experience with Data Quality tools to profile, cleanse, standardize and enrich data. Knowledge of Data Governance and familiarity with Data Stewardship activities. Exposure to building and implementing Data Strategy, including architecting, design and implementation of an MDM program. Hands-on MDM experience using tools including areas of core MDM configuration, service integration framework, and workflow. Gathering and analyzing requirements, converting them to technical specifications. Full life cycle MDM project management and OKRS from functional design to deployment. Demonstrated knowledge of various supply chain functions, processes and systems. Demonstrated knowledge of project management processes and systems, and demonstrated experience with managing medium-size cross-functional data or process improvement projects. Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $60.92 - $80.73 per hour The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
