Your role as Manufacturing Manager - Bio will allow you to serve staff and leaders and help provide creative solutions to drive CPC's short- and long-term goals. The Manufacturing Manager will lead a team of supervisors, process technicians, and production personnel at our Minneapolis & Roseville locations. This team is dedicated to supporting CPC's bioprocessing business unit, operating inside class 7 controlled environments. The Manufacturing Manager is an ambassador for the CPC culture - cultivating a passion for serving customers, operational excellence, and employee empowerment. Essential Job Responsibilities Ensuring that product is manufactured safely, to the highest quality standards, and on time while proliferating a culture of continuous improvement Collaborate cross functionally to meet safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity KPIs Responsible for managing labor capacity in alignment with sales and operations planning (S&OP) Attract, train and develop a world-class team focused on meeting customer expectations Drive employee engagement in problem solving and continuous learning Host daily tier boarding meetings and monthly town halls Promote & maintain awareness and compliance to workplace health and safety requirements in accordance with best practice and legal requirement Actively participate in Operational Excellence group projects focused on strategic development of production equipment, technology, and processes Support customer audit team with plant tours, process inquiries, and audit responses. Demonstrates support of CPC core values Other duties as assigned Required Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Management or relevant field Minimum of 5 years of experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and/or continuous improvement Minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience Manufacturing experience in controlled environments preferred Strong skills in production analytics and reporting Have a strong understanding of inventory management, production planning & scheduling Have a deep understanding and/or education around different flow management techniques especially within low-volume/high-mix business Have a working understanding of quality management systems such as ISO9001 Have a working understanding of health and safety best practice Travel: Up to 10% domestically and internationally as required Physical Demands: Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. While performing the duties of this job, sitting is regularly required; use of hands and fingers, and talk or hear. Reaching is frequently required with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stand, walk, and/or stoop. Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
