Requirements:

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field
• Illinois licensure as a School Social Worker or eligibility
• Outstanding interpersonal and counseling skills

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored counseling and support services to address a variety of social, emotional, and behavioral hurdles
• Collaborating closely with school staff, families, and community resources to craft and implement effective intervention strategies
• Conducting comprehensive assessments and actively contributing to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Advocating vigorously for students' needs and rights within the educational landscape and the wider community
• Staying informed about the latest research and best practices in school social work through continuous professional development activities
