Holden Machine & Fabrication is hiring: Warehouse worker in New York

COMPANY

Holden Machine & Fabrication specializes in fabrication and
re-build services involving "power transmission components", that
include among many other elements: fluid couplings, speed reducers,
pulleys, bearings, motors, sprockets, bull gears, bushings, belt &
chain drives and other components that are common to all power
transmission configurations.

ROLE

Under minimum supervision, performs warehouse worker duties.
Assignments require the exercise of independent discretion, judgment and
a thorough understanding of company/department policies and procedures.
Employees will work both independently and as part of work groups or
teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pull parts for the production department;
• Label parts received and place into inventory;
• Assist in inventory counts;
• Assist in building pallets for shipping including strapping and wrapping;
• Assist in shipping;
• Assist in receiving;

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent;
• The ability to operate in all-weather conditions;
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds;
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity;
• Clear communication (understanding written and verbal cues);
• Maintain a good attendance record and comply with company rules and regulations;
