We are in search of a Tax Preparer to join our team. Our offices are in Walnut Creek and Danville, California. This role is onsite during tax season and can be hybrid or remote for off-season.

The role shall involve processing individual and entity tax returns, performing bookkeeping tasks, and managing client relationships. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity in the tax preparation sector.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately input and process tax return using Lacerte Tax Software (required)
• Maintain and update client records to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Resolve client inquiries related to tax preparation and bookkeeping
• Monitor client accounts and take necessary action based on their tax situation
• Prepare trust tax returns and manage C Corp and Corporate Income Tax tasks
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks
• Adapt to off-season and tax season shifts in workload and responsibilities
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to details
• Proficiency in Drake Software preferred (not required)
