Executive Assistant to CEO/Founder, Entrepreneurial Investment Firm, Cambridge, Massachusetts
Our client, an entrepreneurial investment firm whose mission is to focus on start-up businesses that strive to help create economic mobility in the US is looking for a "right hand" Executive Assistant to support the CEO/Founder. The ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced environment, is very detail-oriented and a problem- solver. This is a very exciting opportunity for someone who describes themselves as having an entrepreneurial spirit and who needs very little intervention to get things done right the first time. Candidates from a start-up environment is highly desired. An interest in their mission to help create economic mobility for all in the US is a must. The role is 4-5 days in the office depending on what is going on.
About the Job:
Support the CEO/Founder as a "right hand" with all day-to-day matters including managing an ever- changing calendar, prioritizing meetings and understanding the ramifications when making changes to the calendar
Prioritize emails and craft responses on his behalf
Organize and manage domestic /International travel arrangements with detailed itineraries
Interact with Executive team and start-up companies that the firm may be looking to invest with diplomacy
Prepare CEO/Founder for internal meetings and investment meetings including research and needed collateral materials
Plan events and dinners
Expense reporting
Ad hoc projects
Salary plus Discretionary Bonus; Comprehensive Health Benefits
About You:
A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a high- level c-suite executive, preferably in the venture capital/ private equity space or at a start-up
Bachelor's Degree
Very detail oriented with the ability to change gears quickly - a true multi-tasker and problem solver who can anticipate needs
High level of integrity and discretion in handling all confidential information; high emotional and intellectual intelligence
Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
An entrepreneurial spirit with a warm engaging personality
