A day in the life:

CVRx is looking for an innovative finance leader to become its first Director of FP&A, reporting to the CFO. This role is suited for experienced FP&A Managers or Senior Managers from the med-tech industry, particularly those from late-stage startups or growth-stage companies. The Director will be a strategic finance partner, focusing on long-term planning to support revenue growth and margin improvement. Responsibilities include establishing FP&A processes, implementing systems, and setting reporting standards, requiring a proactive, hands-on leader with strong communication skills to interact with the Executive Committee and Board. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, experience in best practices, and the ability to guide teams through organizational growth and change.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Financial Planning: Own the corporate financial model and seek to continuously improve the insight and value provided by the model. This includes owning the process to refresh, reflecting changes in the operating environment, business strategies and competitive landscape, and communicating the model to internal and external stakeholders. Own the budgeting process, including setting targets with the executive team and collaborating with business leaders to develop plans that deliver on the targets. Own the forecast process, monitoring performance against targets, updating forecasts, and managing business sensitivities, risks and opportunities in achieving the target. Own the management reporting including developing and distributing KPI dashboards, automating data and reporting while promptly addressing material changes in outlook. Conduct scenario analysis, modelling business scenarios and developing contingency plans to navigate changes in market conditions. Maintain accurate financial records in relevant systems throughout budget and reforecast processes. Financial Performance Reporting and Management:

Own, operate and continuously improve the financial performance management processes, reports and KPI's to enable achievement of our corporate goals. Own the delivery of accurate monthly results, forecast and budget pack as well as oversight and distribution of KPI dashboards to internal and external stakeholders. Own the month end FP&A processes to ensure they are relevant, accurate and timely to meet our corporate reporting requirements. Own the development and delivery of the FP&A reporting roadmap capabilities and finance technologies, including being the SME for the group BI and planning tools. Requirements

What we expect from you:

A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. 5+ years senior level FP&A experience. Extensive expertise in FP&A function including corporate modelling, AOP/forecasts, management/KPI reporting. Willingness to step in with a hands-on approach to tasks; recognizing the need to build structure to support strategic aspirations while ensuring ongoing operational delivery. Outstanding business partnering experience, gaining trust with executive leaders by demonstrating a broad view of the operating environment, being strategically minded and ability to exercise sound judgment to lead others through change. In-depth knowledge of commercial sales teams, R&D projects and portfolio management and supply chain/manufacturing operations. Extensive proficiency with sales and market models, project accounting and cost-accounting. Effective communication and presentation skills, including advanced PowerPoint skills, and the confidence to present to the Executive Committee, senior management, and the Board of Directors. Advanced Corporate Modelling Skills in MS Excel, BI/Planning tools, ERP (e.g. QAD or similar), and attention to detail and focus on quality. Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams, build strong cross-functional relationships, and collaborate to drive process excellence. Capable of developing strategies and able to champion enterprise-wide initiatives. What we would like to see:

Advanced Degree / MBA preferred. Experience in a late-stage startup or growth-stage publicly traded company is highly preferred. Experience in medical device manufacturing is preferred. ADP Workforce Now, Salesforce experience preferred. Working Conditions:

Normal Hybrid working conditions; in office 3 days/week. Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. May require sitting up to 8 hours per day. May be asked to travel 10%. Benefits
