Carpenter - Bellevue

Job description Baldwin General Contracting is hiring for a carpenter to work on a project in Bellevue. Carpenters work directly under the supervision of the Superintendent while representing the company in a professional manner. Primary Duties Demonstrates quality in all work Utilizes proper lifting techniques Initiates all work as scheduled & with available materials. Supervise laborer to ensure safe work practices and appropriate task assignments Maintains own tools for job and uses the right tool for right job Uses proper start / stop / clean up procedures Erects / Installs CIP and or precast concrete panels. Completes layout / frames metal & wood, applies wood & cement to siding of buildings efficiently / effectively Installs windows, doors, hardware, cabinets, trim and is a competent carpenter Qualifications Understands the duties of a carpenter, with 2-3 years of verifiable experience. Understands utilization and maintenance of all PPE Equipment. Able to understand and read Architectural & Engineering plans. Understand and is proficient in the erection of scaffolding systems.
