The firm is seeking a remote User Acceptance Testing Associate to join the Financial Crimes Risk Management practice. The User Acceptance Testing Associate will support work related to UAT process and product rollout. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with a solid understanding of user acceptance testing principles. Responsibilities: Supports work related to UAT process and product rollout into production. This role works with data science counterparts and product management to design and implement scripts and plans for an application testing strategy. Creates test plans, test cases and scripts; conducts a limited variety of tests and analyses to ensure that systems meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements. Executes test scripts according to application requirements documentation. Retests software corrections to ensure problems are resolved. Documents evolution of testing cases/scripts for future replication. Collaborate and maintain relationships with product owners, stakeholders, business analysts, development, and quality assurance teams. Have direct accountability for the planning and execution of an application’s UAT. Lead the team on testing scope across applications as well as estimated completion dates. Lead the team to continually improve internal processes, workflows, team collaboration, and results. Facilitate providing test data requirements and enrich test cases to ensure alignment to business initiatives. Collaborate in identifying risks as well as mitigations to defects or process deficiencies wherever possible to ensure release readiness. Identify defects and work directly with the developer to resolve and validate fixes. Provide daily operational support and facilitate defect triage for production environments. Perform end to end testing to ensure appropriate functionality, product integrity, accuracy, and quality of all changes and enhancements. Analyze and troubleshoot erroneous results, determine root cause, and suggest solutions. Continuous improvement and refinement on tests based on pre-production validation, post-production results and feedback from other groups (Configuration Department, Content Department and Operations teams) as needed. Assist with the creation and/or updates of standard operating procedures. Identify and assist in investigative items to potentially resolve production defects and furthermore create future enhancements. Prioritize projects based on business need. Assess risks and develop strategies to lower probability of errors and/or quality of out of network products. Update leadership regarding testing status. Performs other duties and functions as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. 2-5 years experience in Business Analysis or Systems Analysis. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional verbal, written and visual communication skills. Basic level experience in an IT testing role. Proficient in all Microsoft Software. Effective listening skills. Excellent customer service skills. Strong initiative. Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment. Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Accuracy and attention to detail. SQL Experience preferred but not mandatory.
