Architecture/Design/Development - Application Architect I

Hybrid Pay rate range: $50 - $55 Key Responsibilities: Cloud Architecture Design: Design and build scalable, secure, and highly available AWS architectures for various applications and systems. Architect cloud solutions based on AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, and more. Collaborate with development and engineering teams to define infrastructure requirements and deliver optimized cloud solutions. Cloud Migration & Optimization: Lead and assist with migrating on-premises applications and infrastructure to AWS cloud. Develop strategies for optimizing AWS environments for performance and cost efficiency. Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK. Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud architectures meet security and compliance requirements, applying best practices for identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and secure networking. Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses of cloud environments. Develop disaster recovery and backup strategies for critical systems. Cost Management: Monitor AWS resource usage and optimize for cost efficiency. Implement cost allocation strategies and recommend best practices for cost-effective architecture. Develop and enforce governance policies around cloud resource usage. Devops Setup and Management: Work with DevOps and engineering teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and other cloud automation strategies. Hands on experience in AWS code build and Azure devops. Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using AWS tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third-party tools. Troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, and availability issues within AWS infrastructure. Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of cloud architecture and implement improvements. Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including design diagrams and deployment guides.
