DevOps Systems Engineer

Job Description DevOps Systems Engineer, Clearance Required - TS/SCI w/Polygraph Please note, this position requires all candidates to currently possess an active Top-Secret SCI Clearance with a Polygraph. This position is not an opportunity to be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance. The Work: This program provides analytic hosting platforms responsible for providing a world-class analytic hosting platform on which to run data-intensive analytics, new capabilities that enable an increase in user adoption, stellar customer outreach and engagement for all cloud services, and sustainment, transition, and decommissioning of mission critical repository systems. Minimum Qualifications: A current Top-Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph is required. Documented Experience with DevOps/Platforms: Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation) Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code and orchestration. Experience with containerization technologies (Docker). Excellent understanding of Python, Perl and Java. Demonstrated experience automating infrastructure build-out using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Demonstrated experience utilizing DevOps tools, such as GitHub and Jenkins, to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery. Demonstrated experience supporting and monitoring highly available, production web applications. Demonstrated experience working with PKI certificates. Demonstrated experience working with Agile Scrum based development team. Demonstrated experience developing highly available systems on Cloud infrastructure utilizing Linux and advanced bash scripts Experience with managing Gitlab runners to automatically script and configure pipeline jobs. Bonus Points: Experience developing Applications using the following technologies or something similar: SOLR, Elastic, RDS Able to work with both relational and non-relational database systems such as Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, and Postgres. Experience with troubleshooting of Internet and Web related protocols and technologies such as Tomcat, Nodejs, Web Services, or SSL. Demonstrated hands-on experience and troubleshooting developing JUnit and Jasmine tests. As a DevOps Systems Engineer, You Will: be passionate DevOPS practices and improve deployment frequency and faster time to market leveraging the new technologies. You will be expected to be able to solve complex problems and have extensive experience engineering efficient continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines and developing strategic plans to introduce or improve DevOps best practices.
