Develop utility-scale solar, storage, and wind across the West Work with an impacting and established IPP About Our Client Our client is a leading integrated clean energy IPP with extensive experience with all aspects of project development, project finance, operations, and customer service which has made them a leader in the renewable energy industry. They're known for the development of utility-scale renewable projects across the U.S. Job Description The Project Development Manager (West) will be responsible for: Managing and executing the development of utility scale renewable energy projects from greenfield to COD. Handling projects at different stages of maturity. Collaborate with engineering team and external consultants to evaluate site layouts and constraints, technology options, schedule implications, interconnection applications and studies Direct and conduct due diligence on development-stage project and portfolio acquisitions, including comparison and prioritisation of multiple opportunities based on common siting, permitting, interconnection, power-marketing and other project metrics Manage external stakeholders supporting environmental assessment campaigns Manage external stakeholders supporting property and sales tax abatement efforts Manage occasional permitting activities with support from other team members Prepare project budgets, schedules, and RFP responses MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant The Project Development Manager (West) will have Minimum of (4) year's experience in renewable energy industry with experience managing projects from early to late-stage development. Direct experience with development of utility scale solar, storage, or wind projects in the West. Experience with land development: landowner engagement, and negotiation/contracting, title resolution, agricultural land use/water restrictions Knowledge of governmental mandates, environmental regulations or customer/market signals that impact or facilitate new development of renewable projects Bachelor's degree is required Please still apply if you have smaller scale projects but could still see yourself contributing What's on Offer The Project Development Manager (West) will be eligible for $140,000 - $160,000 base salary Annual bonuses Comprehensive benefits packages Opportunity for annual bonus project milestone bonuses Contact Valeria Barrios Quote job ref JN-112024-6583634
