About the Role Our Salesforce Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the implementation and execution of Salesforce projects within the organization. We're seeking Salesforce team membersto help modernize and enhance enterprise system that connects healthcare providers directly with millions of US veterans seeking clinical care. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including business leaders, developers, and administrators, to ensure successful planning, deployment, and optimization of Salesforce solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES Our Salesforce Project Manager will work within an Agile environment and collaborate with other developers, product owners, test engineers, and architects to: Develop and execute project plans, defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and align project objectives with organizational goals. Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, administrators, and business analysts. Foster effective communication and coordination among team members to ensure project milestones are met. Oversee that configuration and customization of Salesforce meets business needs. Ensure Salesforce team is following best practices and industry standards. Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables. Implement risk mitigation strategies and work with teams to address challenges promptly. Ensure the quality of Salesforce implementations by working with various teams to conduct thorough testing and validation processes. Monitor team performance and recommend improvements as needed. Ensure every project has detailed project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and testing plans. Generate and present regular project status reports to leadership. Gather feedback from users to drive continuous improvement in Salesforce implementations. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of managing Salesforce implementations using Agile Scrum methodology Highly skilled in driving and managing business discussion including Planning, Scope Management, Process, and Change Management discussions. Project Management experience using Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative processes. Familiarity with Salesforce Industry and best practices in software and solutions development Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to convert concepts into professional documents including but not limited to professional presentations. Familiarity with Jira and Salesforce Agile Accelerator, is a plus. Experience working with Federal agencies is a plus.
