Quality Operations Specialist (14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station) Location: Fort Worth, TX (76118) Job ID: 69560 Pay Range: $32-48 1st shift 9/80 Schedule - 700am - 230p Onsite job Position open to US Citizens Focus: Aviation Repair Station Experience: Previous work at 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station THE COMPANY : An American Owned Aviation, Aerospace, Defense & Industrial Global Conglomerate. The Quality Operations Specialist is responsible for developing conformity packages for the 525 program and to ensure the compliance of the Company's (QMS) Quality Management System to the regulatory requirements . The selected would be responsible for developing, revising and maintaining processes, procedures, and program plans in the QMS - Quality Management System . In addition, will also be responsible for developing, revising/maintaining the processes and procedures for the Company's Certified Repair Station. Skills required: • Associate college degree is Preferred NOT required. • Required - Relevant experience and technical training in lieu of degree. • Experience 7-10 yrs. required. • Experience developing and writing internal procedures and creating training classes • Previous work at 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station • Action orientated and the ability to work either independently or as a member of a team • Must have experience in using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project & Visio) • Strong understanding of FAA regulatory requirements • Skilled verbal & written communication interaction with both internal and external customers (government agencies, etc.). • Corrective Action & Continuous Improvement Methodology to include Statistical Analysis & Project Management techniques • Must work efficiently with minimal oversight, possess strong communication skills and be well organized. Responsibilities include: • Maintain, update, and revise as necessary QMS Procedures • Revise Repair Station Training Manual • Revise Repair Station Quality Manual for the addition of the Flight Research Center. • Create a Procedure for one Common FAA Roster of Technicians for all Repair Stations • Update Training Records for all Repair Station Employees • Create /Revise Procedures for PC Extension • Update /Revise all Repair Station Standard Training in Brain Shark • Update/ Revise all ARD Training in Brain Shark • Update/Track and Monitor Commercial Quality Escape RCCA • Create Drug and Alcohol Random Testing Procedure for all Repair Stations • Create /Revise Procedures for addition CPR/BPR Warehouse to Quality Management System • Support cross functional teams engaged in continuous improvement initiatives and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) efforts, along with risk evaluation and mitigation coordination • Perform duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, processes, and guidelines • Other duties and projects as assigned.
