Job Overview PES is seeking a dynamic and experienced HRIS Business Partner to join our team. In this role, you will act as a liaison between our operating companies and our HRIS team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. You will be responsible for understanding the needs of our stakeholders, providing strategic guidance, and leveraging your technical expertise in HRIS systems, particularly Workday, to drive efficiency and effectiveness in our HR operations. Additionally, you will lead and manage a small team of HRIS professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to support their development and success. The preferred location for this opportunity is Dallas, TX. What You'll Do Roles & Responsibilities: Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for our operating companies, understanding their unique needs, challenges, and priorities. Build strong relationships with stakeholders at various levels to effectively gather requirements, communicate updates, and address concerns. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between HRIS initiatives and business objectives. Technical Expertise: Possess a strong technical understanding of HRIS systems, with a focus on Workday, including configuration, integrations, reporting, and data management. Serve as a subject matter expert on Workday modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Talent Management, and Benefits. Experience in creating and optimizing reports and analytics within Workday to provide actionable insights for stakeholders. Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in HR technology, evaluating potential solutions and recommending enhancements to meet business needs. Strategic Guidance: Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to stakeholders on leveraging HRIS solutions to improve processes, streamline workflows, and drive business outcomes. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements based on industry best practices and emerging technologies. Partner with HR and business leaders to develop and implement HRIS strategies that support organizational growth and scalability. Team Management & Leadership: Lead and manage a small team of HRIS professionals located remotely, providing mentorship, coaching, and support to foster their growth and development. Set clear expectations and goals for the team, ensuring alignment with departmental and organizational objectives. Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations, recognizing achievements and addressing areas for improvement. Project Management: Lead and support HRIS-related projects, from initial scoping and planning to execution and post-implementation support. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field 5 years of experience in HRIS, HR operations, or related roles, with a focus on Workday Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, business partnership, team management, and leadership Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and drive results Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus Vaccination against Covid-19 is required, except where prohibited pursuant to state or local law What We Offer This position offers the opportunity to join a collegial, entrepreneurial firm committed to the personal and professional growth of its team members and to maintaining a positive, encouraging work environment where people enjoy working together.
