Senior Audit Associate

Vaco Boston has partnered with a reputable CPA firm in the Boston area looking to add a Senior Audit Associate to their team. Responsibilities: · Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution and final deliverables. · Develop detailed engagement work plans, illustrating budgets and schedules. · Skillfully and accurately perform financial and compliance audits · Prepare and reviewing audit work papers and adjusting trial balances · Analyze and compiling financial statements into a written report to be presented to clients and coworkers · Continuously foster relationships with coworkers and clients Qualifications: · 4 year Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related business field · CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred. · 2-5 years of experience with a public accounting firm · Strong Microsoft Excel skills · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Work effectively and personably with clients and coworkers
