At PGIM, You Can What you will do Our PGIM Multi-Asset Solutions (PMA) team is looking for a sharp and motivated individual to join the team as a Specialist, Portfolio Administration. The business operations function within PMA oversees a wide variety of business activities including oversight of subadvisors activities, monitoring investment performance, cash and liquidity management, operational effectiveness, and oversight of operational and business controls and client reporting. The COO team is looking to expand and offer a unique opportunity to join a new business that is building out its infrastructure and operating model and to gain experience working across PGIM affiliates and functional areas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, to build out and manage our reporting processes for both client and internal management reporting to support and manage all aspects of business activities. You will be part of a flat team with broad responsibilities and need to be a creative thinker and entrepreneurial self-starter and eager to drive one of Prudential's and PGIM's most important strategic initiatives. This position is based in our office in Newark, NJ, following a hybrid schedule (3 days in office). Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely and/ from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration. What you can expect Develop understanding of key processes across the PMA Investment management lifecycle Define and implement critical processes and reporting needs for both client and internal business management working closely across all areas of the business. Work closely with technology to define the tools needed to scale the business across various functions. Focus on supporting new client and transaction implementation, the tools and processes needed to scale the business. Help respond to client RFPs and the operational aspects of client onboarding. Work on ad hoc projects and analysis to support COO Focus on data visualization and process automation. Work with PGIM affiliates building out new products and asset classes on the PMA platform. Independently prioritize and lead various project work. Evolve from a new platform launch through the strategic build out to support an aggressive business growth plan as PMA onboards new clients and AUM. What you will bring Bachelor's degree required with a major in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or Information Systems preferred. Analytical and inquisitive mind set to analyze portfolio information. 2 years of experience in investment operations, FP&A, accounting, or project management in financial services industry, preferred but will consider recent college grads with relevant coursework and the right attitude. Good understanding of various investment security types and investment concepts Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as, in a team environment. Strong PC skills with proficiency in MS Excel and comfortable with mid-level data manipulation; experience with data visualization (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI a plus) Experience with various reporting and business intelligence tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills accompanied by excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills. Good organizational skills, resourcefulness, and ability to organize/prioritize tasks. Flexibility and ability to multi-task/juggle multiple assignments/projects and meet deadlines and changing priorities. What will set you apart? Prior working experience in Asset Management and/or Capital Markets strongly preferred. The salary range for this role is from $70,000 to $90,000 Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
