The Work Develops, modifies, and applies quality principles to the development and use of system/software and system/software-based systems for make and/or buy system/software products. Performs verification and validation of test equipment including hardware in the loop systems. Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives. Verifies the designs, implementation of system/ software development and maintenance processes. Defines audit strategy to ensure compliance to systems/software processes. Designs, specifies and conducts test methods for system/software inspection, verification and validation. Evaluates and analyzes system/software quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Ensures measures meet acceptable reliability standards. Performs system/software product reviews against contractual, technical and/or process requirements. Reviews include requirement specifications, design documents, source code, test plans and procedures, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies. Performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related master’s degree. AS9100 Knowledge/Experience Experience with verification and validation processes, auditing for software/systems, ability to determine requirements analysis, design/development, product integration and test. Possess a Secret Security Clearance. Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Desired Skills: Possesses excellent communication in both written and oral. Previous Experience within a quality role: processes, contract/plan/policy understanding, ability to determine root cause analysis corrective action, and preventive action. Experience driving strategies resulting in the strengthening the Software Quality Management Systems both at internal sites and at key software suppliers. Experience with presentation & problem-solving skills. Experience working with Government customers and stakeholders. Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt). ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CSQ) and/or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA). Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality Systems/Models such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), QMS System Audit (AS9100, ISO9001) Experience with development, production, and sustainment. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $115,500 - $217,500.
