We're supporting our medical insurance client, Client Cross Association (BCBSA) in Chicago, IL. Our client BCBSA provides national healthcare access to large corporations in addition to Dept. of Defense (DoD) U.S. Federal Government. There is no government clearance needed for this role. BCBSA is seeking a remote ETL Developer with insurance or healthcare industry experience along with 7 years' background performing full lifecycle (SDLC) ETL design and development tasks in Ab initio, along with performing backend automated SQL and UNIX scripts. We're seeking a remote ETL Developer with SDLC component knowledge in Ab Initio with GDE, PSETS, PDL Programming and Meta Programming experience. The objective of the ETL Developer role is to enhance BCBSA's real-time automated data sets within their Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM). The RTM platform has already been built at the BCBSA office, and they're seeking an ETL Developer to help migrate data into the RTM system from their legacy SQL systems. This role is 100% remote, with no travel or on-site requirement in BCBSA's Chicago, IL office. Our client BCBSA provides flexibility for the remote ETL Developer to work in one of the approved states within the attachment. The remote ETL Developer role is a four-month contract (w/ possible extension) starting February 26, 2024 The two-step interview process (on two separate days) begins with a regular phone call from BCBSA's HR Dept., then you would perform a final MS Teams video interview with BCBSA's Development and Project Management Teams. Ab initio experience including GDE, Plans, EME, m-hub and DQE. • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, Unix shell scripting. • Excellent grasp on all Components of Ab Initio - GDE, PSETS, PDL Programming, Meta Programming etc. • Good understanding in various Ab-initio parallelism techniques. • Be proficient/expert in Ab Initio ETL & Database technologies, share expertise with the team to address project requirements. • Good experience in end-to-end implementation of DW BI projects, especially in data warehouse and mart developments • Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle. • Work proactively & independently to address project requirements, and articulate issues/challenges at appropriate time to address project delivery risks. • Provide expertise in technical analysis and solving issues during project delivery. • Prepare for code review, test case reviews, and ensure code developed meets the requirements. • Ensure quality, standards, version control by properly following the process. • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills along with excellent oral and written communication skills.
