The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of complex cybersecurity tasks, including the establishment and maintenance of a comprehensive agency-wide information security and risk management program. This role involves overseeing the security architecture, security operations center, and incident response for the company's extensive information technology enterprise. The Deputy CISO will also be expected to lead and supervise teams, design and evaluate cybersecurity policies and programs, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Applicants for the Deputy CISO position should have a minimum of 12 years' of cybersecurity work experience, with at least 5 years' in a leadership role. The role requires a seasoned cybersecurity manager capable of overseeing multiple cybersecurity programs and resources. Technical capabilities in cybersecurity defensive operations, engineering, or architecture are essential. The Deputy CISO will be expected to stay current on emerging technologies and their security implications, as well as to proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of cybersecurity initiatives.
