Interim Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Our Client, a software development, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. As a key player in our accounting department, you’ll contribute to month-end and year-end close processes. Your focus? Maintaining the general ledger, reconciling accounts, and providing insightful analysis for balance sheet and income statement items. Responsibilities: Prepare accruals, journal entries, and reconcile general ledger accounts during month-end close Ensure accurate bank reconciliations for cash receipts, disbursements, chargebacks, and fees Collaborate with FP&A for financial statement analysis and meaningful explanations Assist in monthly and quarterly financial statement preparation Support management with ad-hoc projects and analyses Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting CPA and/or public accounting experience (a plus) 5 years of related professional experience Strong proficiency in Excel Compensation: Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: $45 - $65 per hour.
