Job Title: SAP GTS Functional Consultant Location: Austin, TX Duration: Fulltime Desired Skills: Project Management | SAP Hana | SAP GTS: SAP Global Trade Services Job Description : Lead and manage customer engagements related to GTS and integration to ECC and SAP S/4HANA. Six plus years of experience with SAP GTS and SAP ECC Two plus complete full life-cycle implementations of SAP GTS projects in a functional lead capacity Experience with Design and development of processes of Compliance and Customs Management etc. In-depth technical knowledge of SAP GTS as well as supporting business processes SAP project leadership including selection, implementation, and support of application-packaged solutions Provide advisory and assessment services to customers in SLM journey of support RFP/ RFI or during pro-active engagements Envisage business improvements using SAP S/4HANA and new SAPGTS application, and execute required proof of concepts to showcase the benefit. Lead GTS Track in SAP projects and ensure timely completion of projects with key focus on quality. Provide leadership in planning/sequencing of customer workshops, conduct workshops and support facilitation of same Support and provide inputs for cutover, migration, testing, training related strategies. Prepare product backlog, ensure deviations from "out of the box" functionality have sufficient business justification and positive value proposition Support larger project team during configuration, testing and validate the solution built, with at least one experience with a big four consulting major Engage with business users during requirement analysis, fit-gap analysis, and solution design Co-ordinate with business users and product owners during solution acceptance with focus on sales processes and integration of same with manufacturing, finance, procurement, supply chain Prior experience in driving process improvement projects Experience in SDLC project management and analysis including scoping / timeline management, documenting use cases, process flows/swim lane diagrams, requirements (BRD) etc, UAT, change management etc. Strong communication and presentation skills, flexible, open working style and an ability to establish trust and credibility quickly. Experience with working on Agile and waterfall project methodology Has lead efforts in Solutions design that is scalable, stable, and efficient with a focus on customer / business voice. Experience with project management tools like JIRA. Prepare product backlog, ensure deviations from "out of the box" functionality have sufficient business justification and positive value proposition PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: - Design and develop SAP GTS IT solutions for Compliance. Perform detailed system analysis, develop functional and technical specifications, and make recommendations Work closely with SAP ECC, Data Warehouse, ABAP, Basis and other teams during design and implementation Work with key business users in developing detailed requirements and providing conceptual design of proposed solution Perform system configuration, modification and set-up for new projects as well as enhancements to existing projects and perform system testing and integration validations Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business clients and provide project status updates and documentation of designs, processes and configurations Interact with business users and other IS&T teams to ensure that business requirements are met through proper system configuration The role will require strong influence and persuasion skills along with excellent configuration and development skills in order to seamlessly integrate SAP GTS and other systems Performing functional and technical analysis of the requirements and propose appropriate design/technical solution and support level of effort, scoping and manage change requests.
