Systems Analyst

Job Description We are searching for a Systems Analyst - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will develop clinical/business solutions by investigating processes to understand data and communications flow with individual tasks and transactions within Integrated Delivery System. Job Duties & Responsibilities • Translates users' needs into detailed requirement specifications • Assists users in determining specific requirements to increase system effectiveness • Analyze and evaluate existing and /or proposed systems • Document the "as is" the "to be" clinical/business processes • Assists in vendor analysis and selection • Investigate alternative solutions including feasibility studies using results from vendor analysis/evaluations • Supports the system installation through the implementation cycle • Performs configuration analysis for system design associated with small and less complex projects • Analyzes system problems and modifications • Coordinates implementation and upgrades of systems Skills & Requirements • H.S. Diploma or GED • 4 years' experience in information systems • Bachelor's degree will substitute four (4) years of work experience • Master's degree will substitute for two (2) years of work experience. CLINICAL EXPERIENCE: Up to one (1) year of clinical patient care and/or clinical research experience may substitute for the one (1) year of required information systems experience on a month-to-month basis Preferred: focus on excellent customer service is highly preferred About Us Since 1954, Texas Children's has been leading the charge in patient care, education and research to accelerate health care for children and women around the world.
