Healthcare BI Developer

Genesis10 is seeking a Healthcare BI Developer for a contract with our client in Eden Prairie, MN. 100% Remote. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the BI team to build and deploy healthcare data enrichments. Design and develop high-performance reporting models using dbt for deployment in Power BI. Support monthly and quarterly production activities to ensure data reliability and accuracy. Maintain comprehensive documentation of data definitions, transformations, and processes to uphold data governance and security standards. Identify and resolve non-standard requests and problems related to data and reporting. Support and maintain the self-service BI data warehouse, ensuring user accessibility and performance. Work with business owners to develop new enrichments and design/implement new reporting models to meet evolving business needs. Required Basic Qualifications: 4 years of experience developing Big Data solutions using Spark and Python. Proficient in Python and SQL. 4 years of experience working with medical and RX claims, eligibility tables, and provider data. Experience designing and deploying reporting data models. Familiarity with CICD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, or Maven Preferred Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in a STEM field. Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, GCP). Snowflake experience. Power BI development experience. Experience using dbt for building data models. Prior experience working as an actuary or with actuaries. Knowledge of healthcare concepts, including benefits, pricing, underwriting, stop-loss reinsurance, and reserves. Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $70-$88 We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
