Financial Analyst Intern

This position reports directly to the Senior Financial Analyst The Financial Analyst Intern will be a key member of the Asset Management Analytics and Strategy team where they will gain meaningful industry experience in the following areas: Conduct cash flow analysis, return-on-investment (ROI) analysis, and financial projections for key projects Collaborate with leaders across the Asset Management Team, including Revenue Optimization, Capital Expenditures, and Asset Management Strategy Work with cross-functional teams to collect data and insights essential for financial modeling and strategy implementation Assist in updating financial models for quarterly reports based on actual performance and future expectations Analyze key hotel metrics to identify trends and performance insights Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the hotel and real estate sectors Collect due diligence data on hotel properties and market conditions to inform strategic decisions and negotiations Communicate analysis insights to senior management Rising Senior for a bachelor's degree in quantitative field (engineering, finance, economics, mathematics, etc.) Exceptional academic record (3.7 GPA) with a demonstrated track record of achievement A career interest in the Real Estate or Hospitality Industry Proficiency in working with complex, Excel-based models Ability to build high-quality, attractive PowerPoint presentations Investigative and analytical curiosity and a desire to succeed Strong analytical skills; detailed-oriented with the capability to gather, organize, and analyze data Ability to work as a team member
