Our client is seeking a Frontend Developer who will develop features and improvements to the products in a secure, well-tested, and performant way. The Frontend Developer is responsible for delivering high-quality, standardized, and secure code for the value benefit of the company and its customers.
Key Accountabilities:
Work with Product Management and other stakeholders (Backend, UX, etc.) to iterate on new features. Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review. Consistently ship small features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects. Improve the overall experience of our product through improving the quality of the Frontend features both in your group and features that benefit other groups. Identify areas of improvements in the code base, both specific to your group and outside your group (e.g., component library) and help contribute to make it better. Fix prioritized issues from the issue tracker.
Required Skills:
At least 8 years of professional experience with React framework - including React hooks, styled components and react routes is a must. At least 8 years professional experience with Web Technologies including HTML, CSS, SASS, and Bootstrap is a must Experience with Sitecore is a plus. Professional experience with latest front end technology stack including but not limited to ECMAscript, typescript, Axios and ESLint. Professional experience with other JavaScript libraries including Angular, Vue JS, Node JS. Experience with creating cross-browser/mobile compatible and standard compliant CSS based page layouts. Experience using front end tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign CC, CorelDraw, GIMP, Sketch, Adobe XD, Visio, Cacoo, Miro (all of these are a plus) Experience with using GIT (source control) Experience producing wireframes and prototypes quickly and effectively. Must know how to denote UI elements such as images, button, and menus in diagrammatic form. Proficiency in visual communication which include and understanding of layouts, color, typography, icons, images, and design theory. Effective UX writing to deliver interaction and visual design. Experience with front end design systems such as architecture, modules, components, interfaces, and data. Strong experience with cross browser compatibility issues and optimization for web. Experience with debugging and troubleshooting existing code using developer tools, such as Chrome Development Tools. Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions. Comfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process. Demonstrated ability to onboard and integrate with an organization long-term. Positive and solution-oriented mindset. Self-motivated and self-managing, with great organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to work closely with other parts of the organization. Ability to thrive in a geographically distributed organization.
