The PXT (People Experience and Technology) Analytics team for AIGC (Ads, IMDb and Grand Challenge) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Scientist to join our team. You will be an integral part of the Research Science space to support the AIGC PXT org initiatives. Key job responsibilities:
Design experiments, test hypotheses, and build actionable models. Conduct quantitative analyses of talent management data and trends. Conduct qualitative data collection and analysis. Partner closely and drive effective collaborations across multi-disciplinary research and product teams. Consult on appropriate analytic methodologies and scope research requests. Write comprehensive reports that summarize research methodology, results, and insights for both business and technical audiences. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of quantitative field research experience - Experience investigating the feasibility of applying scientific principles and concepts to business problems and products - Experience analyzing both experimental and observational data sets - Write accurate, clear, and scientifically rigorous technical documents and reports PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of R, MATLAB, Python or similar scripting language - Experience with experimental design - Experience with statistical modelling / machine learning - Experience in causal modeling like graphical models, causal Bayesian network, potential outcomes, A/B testing, experiments, quasi-experiments, and data science workflows - Experience with agile development Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
