Located in Greenwood, IN, our 132-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness and chemical dependency. Valle Vista offers unique and individualized programming for adolescents and adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities.
Position Summary
The Director of Business Development oversees the provision of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service activities within the Business Development Department. The Director of Business Development is responsible for achieving the desired utilization of the organization’s continuum of care through the effective application of marketing principles and methods.
As a member of the senior leadership team, the Director of Business Development is actively involved in discussions related to a wide variety of facility issues including, but not limited to, strategic planning, potential growth opportunities, future projects, changes in programming/protocols, recruitment, and retention.
The Director of Business Development is responsible for the facility’s strategic marketing plan, enhancing the facility’s brand/image, management of all sales and business development activities and maintaining an active and productive working relationship with internal departments and communicates issues or potential problems proactively, especially with CEO and Director of Admissions/Intake.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Establishes professional relationships with potential and current referral sources making contact with them on a regular basis.
Analyzes data to identify trends, ensure efficiency and adjust strategy. Generates reports to communicate data and analysis.
Supervises departmental staff.

Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or social service with experience in business or marketing
3 years of experience in marketing and or management of customer contacts
Indiana driver's license
Ability to analyze market trends, project business development needs and provide market forecasting.
