The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce & CVB is a South Carolina nonprofit corporation committed to promoting, protecting, and improving the business community. The Chamber serves Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach, Little River, Atlantic Beach, Garden City Beach, Loris, Conway, Aynor, Murrells Inlet, Litchfield Beach, Pawleys Island, Socastee, and Carolina Forest. In addition to functioning as a chamber of commerce, the organization is also the area’s officially recognized destination marketing organization through our Myrtle Beach Area Convention & Visitor’s Bureau – Visit Myrtle Beach. Visit Myrtle Beach serves the organization’s mission to market and promote the Grand Strand area as the premier beach destination for individuals, families, groups, and business travelers. The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, seeks its next President and Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic direction, vision, and team-oriented management for the programs and personnel of Partnership Grand Strand and other non-profit entities associated with the Chamber. This President and Chief Executive Officer will: Serve as the primary staff point of contact for the officers, Executive Committee, Board of Directors, member investors, and stakeholders. Coordinate the Chamber’s Strategic Action Plan, structure, and procedures. Lead the Chamber in providing services, grants, and other available funds to accomplish the Chamber’s overall mission to promote, protect, and improve the Grand Strand area. Establish short-term and visionary long-term goals to continually grow the Chamber. Experienced Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) or Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) or Chamber of Commerce (CoC) and community-minded leaders with a successful track record in hospitality or tourism, marketing, and advertising are encouraged to apply with resume, letter of interest, and references to MyrtleBeach@WinnerPartners.net.
