The opportunity: Reporting to the Vice President of IT, the Associate Director of HR and Financial Systems is a strategic business partner with ownership of the direction and business value results for HBP's Finance and HR systems. With a focus on Workday and eCommerce platforms the Associate Director will build cross-functional relationships with Finance, IT, and HR colleagues to understand and shape demand for system capabilities and requirements and lead a high-performing, results-oriented team. What you'll do: Establish strong relationships with business stakeholders in Finance, HR, and other units.
Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into capability/platform roadmaps.
Manage a high-performing team, ensuring workload and priorities are aligned with roadmaps.
Manage strategic vendor relationships, ensuring solutions are delivered in line with cost, schedule, and quality expectations.
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Workday modules.
Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to maximize the effective use of Workday.
Oversee expert support and management for Workday, ensuring its effective utilization and integration with other systems.
Lead the monitoring of Workday system performance and oversee troubleshooting of issues to ensure optimal functionality and data confidentiality.
Stay current with Workday updates and new features and assess their potential impact on the organization.
Manage support for HBP e-commerce solutions and their integrations.
What you'll bring: 5+ years of experience managing teams supporting a HR and Financial set of applications.
Experience managing teams using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Experience defining business requirements, writing user stories, and providing detailed system and functional designs.
Excellent oral and written communication, presenting, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
Experience and/or knowledge of change management and training principles and methodologies
Located on the US East coast
You'll stand out if you have: Extensive experience with Workday, including implementation, configuration, and ongoing support.
Acute business acumen and an understanding of organizational issues and challenges that are commonplace in HR and Finance practices.

In addition, this position includes the opportunity to earn our annual Performance Based Variable Pay Program.
